Emily is just the most wonderful person to work with! My partner and I scheduled a "just because" couples session with her this past June, and we had an amazing experience. Emily is super responsive via her contact form, and incredibly transparent with pricing, availability, etc. During the planning, I needed to move our location, and Emily was super amenable to the change and provided many personalized suggestions for locations based on what we were looking for. During the week of our session, the weather was looking uncertain, so Emily helped us change the time of our session to avoid the rain (which we did!).

In addition to being delightful to work with, Emily also does gorgeous work. My partner and I chose Emily because we love her clean, artistic style. We also love how she captures genuine emotion. While we knew the final product would be stunning, we didn't expect to have such fun during the session. Emily made us feel so comfortable - she played music, provided easy and natural prompts, and really worked hard to capture our personalities and vibe as a couple. We felt like we were on a date - not just posing for a camera.

After the session, Emily delivered our gallery in a very timely manner. She also posted a reel of our photos on her Instagram, which we were thrilled to see! The photos are truly a work of art and authentically captured who we are as a couple. We will be displaying and cherishing these photos for the rest of our lives. I highly recommend Emily to anyone looking for a photographer in the NY, NJ, CT area and beyond! I have already personally recommended her to friends - with one friend already booking Emily for their 2024 wedding.
